In Partnership with The Key Concert Series
Gemtarra, The Goodbyes & Good Damage
Friday, May 16th
Some nights feel like a snapshot of a scene in motion—and May 16th is one of them. In partnership with The Key Concert Series, The Water Tower Live brings together a fresh wave of alt rock and pop-punk energy, all under one roof built for loud guitars and real connection. With bowling, billiards, two full bars, and a larger-than-life soundstage, this isn’t just another show—it’s where the next wave of the local scene starts to take shape.
Gemtarra, straight out of Philadelphia, delivers a female-driven alternative rock/pop sound with a sharp punk edge. Formed by twin sisters Gina and Tina—whose name blends the Italian words for “twins” (gemelli) and “guitar” (chitarra)—the band has been evolving since their 2020 debut EP Fired Up, recorded at the legendary Studio 4 in Conshohocken with Grammy-winning producer Phil Nicolo. Now featuring Jenn on lead vocals, Tom on bass, Katie on drums, and Gina and Tina on guitars, Gemtarra brings a refined but hard-hitting energy that’s built for the stage.
The Goodbyes, a 5-piece out of New Jersey, bring a polished yet punchy mix of alt rock, pop, and punk influences. Fronted by Jess Haya alongside Kaitlin Devlin, Dan Guida, Frank Pierron, and Isaac Bedicts, the band has been building momentum since 2023 with a sound inspired by Paramore, X Ambassadors, and more—balancing emotional songwriting with high-energy delivery.
Good Damage taps straight into that nostalgic vein of 90s and 00s pop punk and alt rock, mixing originals and covers that feel both familiar and fresh. Based out of New Jersey and formed in 2022, they bring a throwback energy with a modern edge—and with new music like their upcoming single “Just Alive” on the way, they’re just getting started.
