In Partnership with The Key Concert Series
DelCobras, Anthems for the Abandoned & Tim Cole
Saturday, May 23rd
There’s a certain kind of night where everything just lines up—the bands, the sound, the crowd—and May 23rd is shaping up to be exactly that. In partnership with The Key Concert Series, The Water Tower Live continues its push to rebuild the original music scene with a lineup that hits from every angle. Set inside a venue built for live music—complete with bowling, billiards, two full bars, and a larger-than-life soundstage—this is where local music feels bigger than it should in all the right ways.
DelCobras bring their signature brand of hook-heavy power pop out of Delaware County, blending pop-punk and garage rock into something sharp, catchy, and undeniably fun. Featuring Jim Lorino, Marc Schuster, and Nick Cervini, their sound channels the spirit of Weezer and Fountains of Wayne, with upbeat energy and lyrics rooted in real-life, local experiences. Tracks like “The Turnaround” and their EP New Skins have already landed them on WXPN and SiriusXM—so yeah, they know what they’re doing.
Anthems for the Abandoned come in with weight—hard rock and metal that doesn’t just hit hard, it sticks. Inspired by bands like Type O Negative, Linkin Park, and Sevendust, they deliver heavy riffs and emotionally charged songwriting that balances darkness with a sense of hope. With a growing fanbase and serious traction online, they’re building something you’ll want to say you saw early.
Tim Cole opens the night, setting the tone and rounding out a lineup that covers a lot of ground without losing its edge.
